The movie version of the Great Gatsby is a great book, but also a great movie to also watch. Great Gatsby is a film of many different genres. the plot of the movie is Nick Caraway, a young Midwesterner now living on Long Island, finds himself fascinated by the mysterious past and lavish lifestyle of his neighbor Gatsby. Gatsby is a wealthy man who has an amazing house which he very much like to throw parties at. 
The movie shows more facial emotion graphics and mood changes between characters in the movie. And that's what i think one of the thing Fitzgerald is trying to display in his books which better translates in this film. The setting is also better for some visual learners to watch and see in the movie.
